357 Sig Bullets
This page contains just the projectile portion of a cartridge and is meant for reloaders. Please go to our 357 Sig Ammo Page for loaded ammo that's ready to fire.
Designed to deliver the power of a 357 Magnum out of a semi-automatic pistol, the 357 SIG’s flat trajectory and downrange energy advantage make it an excellent selection for self-defense. Yet the 357 SIG never found its footing in a country already enamoured with the 9mm and the 40 S&W, so finding ammo can be tricky.
Fortunately 357 SIG bullets for reloading are not uncommon at all. At .355 in diameter and 125 grains they are essentially identical to 9mm bullets, and as such are widely available.
As it is the 357 SIG’s parent case, it is theoretically possible to resize 10mm brass to reload 357 SIG bullets. The result is a case that falls slightly short of SAAMI spec, however. Purchasing new brass or repurposing spent 357 SIG cases is preferable.
Different sources will tell you that the 357 SIG headspaces on either the case mouth or the shoulder. You should let your handgun decide which type of headspacing it prefers. New reloaders should also take caution that the 357 SIG’s short neck may not properly seat some 9mm bullets, leading to setback. A .355 bullet with a wider bearing surface is optimal for the 357 SIG. The great abundance of .355 bullets on the market still give the handloader ample opportunity to reload this exciting cartridge!

Berry's .356 Diameter Bullets - 115 Grain Plated FP – 1000 Count
$89.85Cost Per Bullet 9¢ per bullet Product Type Bullets Bullet Weight 115 Grain Bullet Caliber 357 Sig, 9mm Quantity 1000 Bullet Type Plated Flat Point Manufacturer Berry's Manufacturer SKU 43519 This is not loaded ammunition. You can’t fire these bullets right out of the box. You need to pair them up with cases, primers and propellant first.
But you, a handloader, already knew that. These are Berry’s Superior Plated Bullets: perfect for 9mm at 0.356” in diameter, and specifically suited for target practice thanks to their light 115 grain weights and plated flat point design.
Target bullets rarely feature bonded jackets, but that’s just the way Berry’s makes them. Each projectile features a uniformly distributed swaged lead core and flawlessly concentric electrochemically plated jacket. Ignition gasses can’t scorch lead off the bullet’s encapsulated lead core, which means cleaner lungs and a cleaner barrel for you. The bullet’s flat nose profile isn’t on par with a wadcutter, although it still successfully punches out a clear, legible hole through a paper target.
Berry’s put each of these bullets to the caliper to ensure they are uniform in diameter and 0.478" OAL. You’re warned against loading this one to a muzzle velocity higher than 1,250 fps. Otherwise you can detach the core from the jacket and get poor accuracy.Customer Reviews

Berry's .356 Diameter Bullets - 124 Grain Target HP – 1000 Count
$94.85Cost Per Bullet 9.5¢ per bullet Product Type Bullets Bullet Weight 124 Grain Bullet Caliber 357 Sig, 38 Super, 9mm Quantity 1000 Bullet Type Hollow-Point (HP) Manufacturer Berry's Manufacturer SKU 32871 This isn’t loaded ammunition! Please only order these component bullets if you have tools and skills you would need to load your own 9mm ammunition.
Do you prefer a 124 grain JHP load for personal protection – but you don’t want to waste your precious high-tech hollow points on range targets? Berry’s has the solution! These 0.356" diameter bullets have hollow point profiles, so they’ll offer extremely similar ballistic performance to your self-defense projectiles. You just won’t have to pay for the features which enable terminal expansion.
This bullet consists of a swaged lead core, which is totally enveloped by its electroplated copper jacket. That’s great if you don’t want hot propellant gasses to vaporize any lead near your face while you’re honing your aim, and it’ll keep your barrel cleaner as well. Every Barry’s bullet is restruck following the electroplating process to ensure a solid bond and consistent dimensions.
These 0.567” long target HP bullets are compatible with reloading data for both cast and jacketed 124 grain bullets that share a similar profile. Please note that firing these bullets faster than 1,250 fps may cause core/jacket separation!Customer Reviews

Berry's .356 Diameter Bullets - 115 Grain Hollow Base RN – 1000 Count
$99.85Cost Per Bullet 10¢ per bullet Product Type Bullets Bullet Weight 115 Grain Bullet Caliber 357 Sig, 38 Super, 9mm Quantity 1000 Bullet Type Round Nose Manufacturer Berry's Manufacturer SKU 00173 These are component bullets for handloading. This is not loaded ammunition that you can fire as soon as you open the box.
Berry’s has remained family owned and operated since their foundation by Ray Berry in 1961. Today they’re well regarded among handloaders for the consistency of their component bullets – a reputation they’ve genuinely earned.
This 0.356” diameter 115 grain plated hollow base round nose bullet is ideal for loading 9mm ammunition, but it is just as handy for 38 Super and 357 Sig. The bullet features a swaged lead core and electrochemically bonded copper jacket, which has been struck twice to guarantee its solid bond and uniform dimensions.
Its electrochemically plated copper jacket completely envelops this bullet’s lead core. As the result it avoids producing vaporized lead during ignition to promote a healthier indoor shooting environment. The bullet’s core also remains undeformed, which alongside its balanced weight and standardized dimensions delivers exceptional accuracy.
Berry’s recommends loading this 1.130” OAL bullet to a muzzle velocity no greater than 1,500 fps. They recommend a taper or roll crimp, but warn against over crimping that could cause core separation. Load data for comparable jacketed or cast 115 grain bullets may be used for these bullets as well. -

USE FOR 9/MM ONLY
-
I've used these 124 grain FMJ bullets for years loading 9/mm rounds. I did want to use them for my 357/Sig but a round nose bullet will never work, a truncated cone nose has to be used. The 357/Sig has an OAL of 1.400". If using this bullet and seating on the bearing surface the OAL will be around 1.325" or about 0.185" over length. If you try to seat this bullet to maximum OAL the bullet will just fall into the 357/Sig case. Because of the round nose there just is not enough bearing surface to correctly seat or grip the bullet. A 147/gr RN may work. I have those also and will have to see if they will work. I have found that for a 357/Sig a 124/gr bullet has to have a truncated cone to work which shortens up the bullet nose and in turn there is more bearing surface to grip the bullet.

We’re always happy when we can offer Zero’s component bullets for sale on our site. Our customers have a high opinion of them – and rightly so. The Alabamian manufacturer takes extra care to carefully control their bullets’ weights, diameters, jacket concentricity and core distribution so you can load to spec and appreciate stellar accuracy. Zero’s prices don’t break the bank, either!
This particular bullet’s great for loading America’s favorite 9mm cartridges, but we reckon they’re a great way to make the much rarer 357 SIG or 38 Super as well. In addition to good accuracy, the JHP will deliver the terminal ballistics you’d want when self-defense is your goal. These bullets are great for handcrafting your own target shooting loads, too!Customer Reviews

Zero Bullets .355 Diameter Bullets - 125 Grain JHP – 500 Count
$64.85Cost Per Bullet 13¢ per bullet Product Type Bullets Bullet Weight 125 Grain Bullet Caliber 357 Sig, 38 Super, 9mm Quantity 500 Bullet Type Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Manufacturer Zero Bullet Manufacturer SKU 162 Woah there – this is not loaded ammunition. These component bullets will only do you any good if you plan to make your own handloads.
Zero Bullets of Cullman, Alabama is one of the better component bullet manufacturers we could name. Their exacting quality assurance protocol yields bullets with impressively consistent weights, and their uniform .355" diameters are a given. Why, we’d say these 125 grain JHP projectiles are just the ticket if you intend to take the creation of your own self-defense loads into your own hands, but they’re also priced right for range loads!
Zero’s bullets possess the concentric jackets and form-fitted lead cores they need to remain stable and accurate in flight. These bullets’ centered hollow point nose cavities make them able to quickly mushroom outward as they penetrate soft tissue. We’re sure most of these bullets will get seated in 9mm brass, but they’re also a swell way to load much harder to come by 38 Super and 357 SIG cartridges!Customer Reviews

Not for 357 SIG in my experience
-
Purchased these bullets intending to load 357SIG ammo. I seated the bullets to a COAL of 1.150” yet I couldn’t get a crimp that prevented the bullet from being pushed into the 357SIG case upon chambering. These bullets are fine for 9mm cases.
