You may find that your AR-15 is a very handy thing to have around the house one day -- but only if it’s loaded with something capable of making bad guys go away. For that you need this 223 Rem cartridge by Speer. Its 75 grain bullet is accurate not only because of its considerable heft, but also its jacket. The Gold Dot bullet’s jacket is formed around its alloyed lead core electrochemically, so it boasts exact tolerances for great accuracy. Because the Gold Dot jacket is so closely wound to its core, this bullet is capable of retaining very nearly all of its weight as it expands widely during penetration.

This round’s bullet is optimized for smooth feeding in a magazine-fed weapon. Its new brass casing is additionally nickel plated for less friction during feeding and extraction, as well as greater resistance to corrosion that may have compromised sensitive components. All in all, a versatile cartridge for home defense.

You’re a nobel man (or woman). You’re also a sportsman (or sportswoman). It only makes sense that you should hunt with NobelSport 410 Bore ammunition!

Before we proceed, please cast aside any doubts: this ammo will function correctly in a Taurus Judge or S&W Governor. So long as the chamber is at least 2-1/2” long, it will hold one of these shells just fine!

This is a max dram equivalent shell: as powerful as its length will allow it to be, without damaging the shotgun. Each round is packed with a 1/2 ounce payload of #7.5 lead shot – a fine size for taking a great variety of upland game – as well as the clean-burning powder it needs in order to launch said shot to a velocity of 1,240 fps.

The 410 Bore’s pattern isn’t as thick as one of the larger shells’. Even so, when it’s loaded with hard lead shot and a premium plastic wad – as is the case with this ammo – even the small 410 can deliver an impressively efficient pattern.

NobelSport does not load corrosive primers. Their hulls are reloadable, though, so you can go ahead and become a small-scale shotshell manufacturer in your free time.

Cost Per Round 67.4¢ per round
This 224 Valkyrie cartridge from Federal’s American Eagle line of ammunition sports a 75 grain projectile, which is heavy compared to other cartridges of its size but not uncommon for its caliber. The bullet features a total metal jacket -- because even its base is enclosed by its jacket, you’ll produce substantially fewer lead fumes when you fire it. That makes it perfect for use in poorly ventilated indoor ranges, or for high volume shooters who know they’d do well to limit their lungs’ exposure to toxic gasses. This bullet’s jacket further prevents rapid lead fouling in a rifle’s bore, preserving the very accuracy that the 224 Valkyrie cartridge is renowned for.

This round also offers a factory fresh brass casing which is ideal for handloading, a non-corrosive primer which is reliable enough to guarantee a shot with every trigger pull, and clean burning propellant which will spare your bore and action from becoming encrusted with caustic residues. Its agreeable price and number of features make this cartridge a must for range training, and with 200 of them to go through you’ll be quite content the next time you venture to the range or woods.

    UPC Barcode 754908328109
Cost Per Round 19¢ per round
Veteran ammunition enthusiasts already know that most of the world’s steel-cased ammo originates in Russia. But Russia hasn’t monopolized the steel-cased ammo business – not by a long shot. Magtech – a subsidiary of the supermassive CBC Global Ammunition group, which is headquartered in Brazil and one of the largest ammo producers in the world – is officially in the steel-cased ammo game!

This 9mm ammo’s steel cases are zinc-plated. They’re prettier because of it, and they get a little extra protection from corrosion as well. Each steel case is fitted with a noncorrosive primer, filled with clean-burning propellant, and seated with a completely nonmagnetic projectile. (Steel cases aren’t reloadable, which does make this ammo a one-and-done kind of affair.)

That projectile is the humble full metal jacket: a bullet which can’t expand upon penetrating soft tissue, but which does feed and chamber with all due efficiency. This round’s muzzle velocity (which Magtech recorded with a 4” test barrel) is just 10 fps faster than the speed of sound. The 115 grain FMJ will issue a supersonic cracking report on ignition and conserve about 91% of its starting velocity 50 yards downrange.

5.7x28mm would be a lot more popular if it were easier to find. And if it were easier to find, many more shooters would love it. That’s what we call a catch-22. But you’re already converted, which is why you’re sure to really dig Fiocchi’s Hyperformance Defense series self-defense ammunition!

Fiocchi produces SS197SR spec 5.7x28 ammo for FN Herstal. This is fundamentally the same exact cartridge, complete with a 40 grain polymer tipped hollow point projectile. In addition to the bullet’s balanced lead core and concentric copper-alloy jacket, the tip helps to promote greater accuracy by significantly streamlining the bullet’s frontal profile. But the tip also remains functional after impact. It drives into the bullet’s concealed nose cavity, commencing rapid terminal expansion that transfers kinetic energy outward.

This smooth-feeding, noncorrosive, Boxer-primed, brass-cased, reloadable and American-made ammo is suitable for all 5.7x28 firearms, including the FN Five-seveN, Ruger-57 and AR-57.

These reliable 9mm full metal jacket flat nose rounds are great for range training. In fact they are so good, several ranges actually sell them on site. Why do they do this? Because these bullets share a similar affect with wadcutter rounds, making a round hole on impact instead of the normal frayed hole, in order to help with scoring. Flying out of the muzzle at 1000 feet per second, you are sure to punch out the bull's eye with these reliable rounds. Don't miss out on this fantastic deal on 1000 rounds!

Don’t be thrown off by the foreign sounding name! Belom is headquartered in Serbia, and was founded to better supply their nation’s armed forces as well as contribute to the local economy. In just a few years Belom has become internationally recognized for making dependable small arms ammo!

This 7.62x39 cartridge makes a swell pal to any AK-47 or SKS rifle. Its 123 grain bullet is an FMJ, with a hard lead/antimony alloy core and copper/zinc alloy jacket. The 90 percent copper jacket is hard enough to feed reliably and prevent accuracy-harming deformation under extreme pressure. It is also devoid of steel and therefore compliant with indoor ranges that ban the use of magnetic ammo.

This round’s case is made of pure brass and outfitted with a non-corrosive Boxer primer. It fires even cleaner courtesy of Belom’s proprietary double base propellant blend, so you’ll be able to spend less time scrubbing your rifle than if you had chosen steel-cased ammo. Belom’s ammo is engineered to perform on the harsh battlefield, so it is both waterproof and reliable in extreme temperatures.

Your long-range precision bolt and gas guns demand nothing but the best to produce their tightest groups in any condition. The Gold Medal Match line from Federal Premium aims to please precision shooters who are trying to squeeze every bit of accuracy out of their game-taking and match-winning rifles. These .308 rounds use reloadable brass casings with non-corrosive Boxer primers bordered by moisture-blocking protective sealant. The rounds are topped by 168 grain Sierra MatchKing boat-tail hollow points (BTHP), a projectile design commonly precision reloaders as well as military snipers who are trusted to take the most important shots in modern conflicts. BTHP rounds reduce drag in flight for longer range and repeatable accuracy and also tend to fragment in a target after entry (though these rounds are not ideal for hunting as they will remove or ruin lots of meat).

These rounds leave the muzzle at 2,650 feet-per-second while carrying 2619 foot-pounds of energy. Sierra projectiles are one of the most popular choices for manufacturers like Federal, Black Hills, and Norma to use in their safari hunting, competition-winning, and war-fighting recipes due to their unrivaled quality and consistency. Federal places stringent standards on the production of their Gold Medal Match line in order to maintain as much commonality between lot numbers as possible so that your DOPE book stays fairly normalized. 168 grain bullets are often used in any common twist rate of .308 barrel.

For precision matches or relaxing long range days, Federal Gold Medal Match is some of the best performing factory .308 precision ammunition that you can find. The ammo almost always does better than 1 MOA and dedicated shooters have used it to achieve groups smaller than 1/2 MOA or even 1/4 MOA.

The 300 AAC Blackout is still a relatively new and exciting cartridge. We’re all still learning our way around it, so we need a lot of good training ammunition until its performance is as old hat as, say, the 223 Rem or 22 LR. If you’re after an affordable cartridge that’ll keep you busy as you train or plink the day away, Sellier & Bellot is poised to fill that order in full with this case of fine ammo.

This 300 AAC Blackout cartridge has a supersonic muzzle velocity, even with a little bit give or take, distinguishing it from its caliber’s other popular supersonic loads. Sellier & Bellot has jacketed its 147 grain projectile with CuZn 10, a great alloy for such an application because it will greatly lessen the amount of copper fouling your bore is bound to incur. Sellier & Bellot has applied nearly 200 years worth of acquired experience to make sure this round’s bullet, reloadable brass casing, and non-corrosive Boxer primer have been correctly assembled according to tight tolerances. Sit on this case for years or burn through it the day it arrives at your door -- you’ll love its performance either way!

This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Hornady features its manufacturer’s own 143 grain ELD-X projectile. Hailed as an incredibly effective means for all-distance hunting, the ELD-X makes short work of a far away target thanks to its ability to expand tremendously while retaining up to 90 percent of its weight for assured deep penetration. It’s efficacious at taking down nearer game thanks to its InterLock ring, which fights high velocity impact to ensure that it retains no less than half of its weight.

The ELD-X boasts the superior accuracy needed to hunt distant bucks as well. Its boat tail design and secant ogive profile both contribute to its high ballistic coefficient, and the latter additionally grants the bullet a lesser bearing surface. The ELD-X’s AMP jacket lends its great concentricity to the creation a flat trajectory, and its Heat Shield tip will not lose its pointed symmetry in response to aerodynamic heating. This round’s bullet is complemented splendidly by its high quality brass casing, consistent propellant’s performance, and sensitive primer. You’ll be pleased to have a whole case of this exciting ammo poised and ready to go for your upcoming hunts!

The government isn’t letting Russian-made ammo into the country nowadays. That hurts all the AK enthusiasts who are trying to limit their spending on ammo, but we’re sure that thought never occurred to the powers that be.

But here’s the neat thing: Russia isn’t the only country that makes steel-cased magnetic 7.62x39 ammo. Azerbaijan, a country we know nothing about, is also in on that action – and here is your chance to fire their ammo.

This ammo is loaded with 124 grain FMJs. Each bullet has a normal lead core. Instead of brass, its core is jacketed in bimetal: almost 100% steel, with a wafer thin copper exterior. The bullet’s case is similarly designed without copper. Instead of brass, it’s steel.

This ammo’s bimetal jackets will attract a magnet. It is banned from many ranges for that reason. This ammo’s cases are not reloadable. AKs are famous for liking steel cases, however, so there’s no great disadvantage to them if don’t handload. And while this ammo is loaded with Berdan primers, it is most assuredly noncorrosive.
